Hello everyone!
I hope you are doing well and settling in nicely into the school year. As we are well underway into our first novel, Girl With a Pearl Earring, I feel it is time to talk about our upcoming trip to Delft. We will be planning to take a day trip to the city and have a lot of activities planned that have to do with Vermeer, the novel and the sights and sounds of the city that we can now experience in person. This upcoming week we will be planning and getting ready to announce the day we will leave, but I want to remind everyone to keep up with their reading ( to page 92) and their assignments as well. Speaking of assignments, in addition to our group presentation work, there will be a written assignment which will be done in class after our short quiz over the first 92 pages of the novel. I hope everyone is keeping up with the reading, and is working hard on our presentations in class. Email me if you have any questions!
